Changing Places & Community Workshop 2018

In 2018 the harbour signed a lease agreement with Highland Council for the basement of the local public toilet located in the ferry carpark. This was a pretty grim space in a poor state of decorative repair but fortunately sound structurally.

Work is underway to create two important spaces – a Changing Places toilet facility for disabled individuals with complex care needs and a Community Workspace which will primarily be used by our local Men’s Shed group.

We expect that both facilities will be up and running by the end of summer 2018.
