Ullapool Harbour has serviced the fish farm industry for decades, originally with the transfer of feedstuffs but more recently with the trans-shipping of live salmon smolts from shore sites via purpose-built tank ships to west coast sea farms.
The harbour has garnered a reputation as a provider of first class, professional support services to visiting vessels on a 24/7 basis with a full range of services including fuel provision, waste removal and storage facilities.
Visit the fish van outside the village hall on Market Street between 10-2 on Saturday and outside the Ceilidh Place on Tuesdays from 10am to 2pm.
The butcher’s van is outside the village hall on Thursdays till 4pm.
Ullapool Unpacked in the village hall stocks an array of fresh veg, eggs and plenty of other foodstuffs with an emphasis of low or zero packaging.
Lochbroom Garage on Garve road stocks an array of locally produced meat and convenience food.
Tesco is located at Latheron Lane.

There are showers in the public toilets which are located in the ferry carpark. There are also shower facilities at Lochbroom Leisure Centre on Quay Street.
